Rescue 1122 DG Khan Responds to 10,000 Emergencies

Rescue 1122 Dera Ghazi Khan received a total of 47,757 phone calls during August, including 9,933 emergency calls, and responded promptly to people in distress.

Performance Review

A review meeting was held at the Central Station, Chowk Churhatta, with District Emergency Officer Engineer Ahmad Kamal in attendance. The performance review revealed:

  • 7,406 medical emergencies
  • 987 traffic accidents
  • 183 crime-related incidents
  • 28 fire emergencies
  • Three drowning incidents
  • Four building collapses
  • 1,322 other emergencies

During the month, Rescue 1122 teams rescued a total of 9,935 patients, providing first aid at the scene to 6,811 and shifting 2,949 for further medical treatment.

The average response time was efficient, with a recorded 6.18 minutes for fire emergencies.
