Rescue 1122, DHQ Hospital Review Fire Safety Measures

District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Muhammad Arif Khan, Muhammad Israr Khan, and Emergency Officer Muhammad Arif Khan visited the District Headquarters Hospital and held a meeting with the hospital director, security officer, trauma in-charge, and heads of various wards to review fire safety arrangements.

The meeting discussed:

  • Fire safety measures
  • Emergency response in case of fire
  • Availability and effective use of firefighting equipment
  • Emergency exits
  • Training of hospital staff to deal with fire emergencies

Muhammad Arif Khan stressed the importance of effective fire prevention and safety arrangements at sensitive facilities like hospitals, emphasizing timely staff training for protection of lives and property during emergencies.

It was decided to establish a dedicated WhatsApp group comprising relevant hospital officials, the Rescue 1122 control room, and concerned officials for immediate communication and an effective response in case of fire or other emergencies.

The participants reviewed existing fire safety arrangements at the hospital and agreed to strengthen coordination and take necessary measures to address any shortcomings.
