Rescue 1122 Responds to 188 Emergencies in a Week

Rescue 1122, Lakki Marwat, responded to 188 emergency incidents over the past week, providing timely rescue, medical, and emergency services to citizens throughout the district.
According to the weekly performance report, the emergency response was supervised by District Emergency Officer Bilal Afridi.
Rescue 1122 received 2,713 calls during the week, including 1,314 unnecessary or irrelevant calls and 1,217 information-related calls.
The emergencies addressed by rescue teams comprised:
- 150 medical emergencies
- 19 road traffic accidents
- Seven incidents of fights and gunshot injuries
- Two fire incidents
- Four recovery operations
Rescue personnel administered immediate medical assistance at the scene and safely transported 182 patients to hospitals for further treatment.
The report additionally noted that Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat handled 57 emergencies under its referral service. Of these:
- Twelve patients were transferred within the district
- 45 cases involved transfers from one district to another
- A total of 58 patients benefited from the referral service
