Rescue1122 Conducts First-aid and Fire-safety Training for Students

Rescue 1122 organized a comprehensive training session on first aid and fire safety for students at Government High School Qaldara in Dargai tehsil, Malakand, on Saturday.
The initiative aimed to equip young learners with critical life-saving skills and emergency response techniques. Throughout the session, instructors guided students through essential medical procedures, including:
- Bleeding control
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Choking response for obstructed airways
- Initial care for bone fractures
Additionally, the training covered vital fire safety protocols, emphasizing:
- Preventive measures
- Correct operation of fire extinguishers
- Practical approaches to suppressing small fires
Hands-on practical exercises were conducted alongside theoretical instruction to reinforce learning.
School Principal Sajjad Ali praised Rescue 1122 Malakand training wing for conducting an interactive session. He highlighted the importance of empowering students with emergency preparation and stated that acquiring such basic first aid and safety skills is vital for protecting lives and handling critical situations effectively.
