Residents Demand Immediate Restoration Of Water Supply At Burewala School
Residents and the administration of Government Higher Secondary School Chak No. 409/EB have demanded immediate restoration of the school’s water supply, which has reportedly been disrupted due to illegal connections drawn from its official pipeline.
According to local residents, the pipeline was specifically laid to provide drinking water to students and staff. However, they alleged that illegal connections made by some residents had resulted in the complete suspension of water supply to the educational institution.
The shortage of drinking water has caused serious difficulties for students and teachers, particularly amid the prevailing hot weather. The residents urged the Commissioner Multan, Deputy Commissioner Vehari, CEO education Vehari and other relevant authorities to take immediate notice, remove the illegal connections, and ensure an uninterrupted water supply to the school. They warned that continued disruption could pose risks to the health and well-being of students and staff, and called for immediate administrative intervention to resolve the issue without further delay.
