RPO Holds Crime Meeting

SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Aug, 2026) RPO Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan presided over a meeting to review the overall situation of crime in the region and the measures taken to combat it.
According to the police spokesman, all district police chiefs, SPRIB, SP Investigations, and circle officers attended the meeting.
The RPO expressed dissatisfaction over the overall crime situation and stated that effective measures are needed at the circle level to reduce crimes. He highlighted the major obstacles in combating crime, including the lack of timely registration of cases and timely completion of their investigation on merits. He instructed all DPOs to complete the investigation of murder and other serious cases on merits under their supervision and take steps to prevent their recurrence by addressing the causes of serious crimes.
The RPO also directed all circle officers and SHOs to further improve their professional performance.
