RPO Lauds Ulema Role For Establishing Peace, Brotherhood In Society
RPO Suhail Akhtar Sukhera has said that the role of ulema is very important in promotion of peace, tolerance, and brotherhood in the society. He stated that promoting religious harmony and tolerance is the need of the hour, for which all schools of thought will have to play their positive role.
Effective steps will be taken to further improve law and order with the mutual coordination of the police and ulema. These views were expressed during a meeting with a delegation of ulema at his office in Faisalabad on Thursday.
The delegation comprised Mufti Zia Madni, Maulana Habibur Rehman Siddiqui, Peer Nazim Hafeez, and others. They exchanged views for mutual cooperation and law & order.
The ulema on the occasion assured full cooperation with the police for the promotion of peace and interfaith harmony.
