Russia Offers Saudi Arabia Mediation in Middle East Conflict

MOSCOW (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) : Russia has offered to mediate in the middle East conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, that Russia is interested in efforts to address the situation in the Middle East.
Faisal bin Farhan said that cooperation among OPEC+ members helps maintain balance between oil supply and demand. He stated that Saudi Arabia seeks further partnership and cooperation with Russia, adding that cooperation between the two countries has been extremely important for the stability and support of global energy markets.
