Safdar Reviews Zero-waste Sanitation Operation at Commercial Market

Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency (SPA), Rawalpindi, Rana Sajid Safdar, on Thursday visited the Commercial Market and inspected the ongoing zero-waste sanitation operation.
Safdar reviewed cleanliness arrangements, waste collection, and the performance of field teams in different parts of the market. He directed officers and staff to improve sanitation standards further and ensure no garbage accumulates.
He emphasized that providing a clean and healthy environment to citizens, aligning with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, is a top priority of SPA.
Rana directed field officers to guarantee continuous cleaning and maintain zero-waste conditions in commercial areas, markets, and public spaces. He also instructed them to:
- Promptly address complaints regarding sanitation.
- Effectively monitor staff attendance, cleaning schedules, and waste-lifting operations.
Safdar stated that cleanliness is a continuous responsibility requiring regular field monitoring and timely action. He urged citizens to dispose of waste responsibly at designated points and cooperate with sanitation teams for a cleaner city.
