Salman Rafique Discusses Additional Corneas From Sri Lanka

Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique on Thursday met Yaseen Joyia, Honorary Consular Officer of Sri Lanka, and discussed the procurement of additional corneas from Sri Lanka.

The minister congratulated Yaseen Joyia on receiving the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and appreciated his services and contribution to strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Salman Rafique stated that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, efforts were being made to provide the best possible healthcare facilities to the people. The meeting also focused on further cooperation in the healthcare sector, particularly arrangements for obtaining additional corneas from Sri Lanka to help meet the needs of patients in Punjab.
