The US refusal to carry out attacks against Ansarullah has placed Saudi Arabia in serious difficulty, while contact with Israel was made through US Central Command, according to an Israeli newspaper.

TEL AVIV, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th Sep, 2026) An Israeli newspaper has claimed that
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sought intelligence assistance
from
Israel to prevent the Houthis from closing the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The newspaper reported that the Saudi crown prince initiated contact through direct discussions with Israel and other Gulf countries, as well as indirectly via US Central Command. According to the report, the US’s reluctance to target Ansarullah has left Saudi Arabia facing attacks on multiple fronts, with its export routes potentially being blocked.
