Hyderabad, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Sep, 2026) The District police have released a 10-day performance report highlighting significant achievements in operations against crime and narcotics.
Initiated on SSP Sameer Noor Channa’s directives:
According to the report, police conducted an effective crackdown over the past ten days, resulting in the arrest of 45 drug dealers and smugglers. Recovered items included:
- 71,850 grams of charas
- 2,050 grams of ice
- 70 liters of locally brewed liquor
- 114 bottles of whisky
- 950 packets of gutka
Key Operations:
- Bandhi Police seized 300 packets of gutka and 37.3 kilograms of charas.
- Khadhar Police recovered 6.1 kilograms of charas, 2.05 kilograms of ice, and 150 packets of gutka from a passenger coach.
- Qazi Ahmed Police apprehended three suspects involved in a murder case and recovered stolen property worth over Rs 300,000.
- Sakrand Police arrested two suspects involved in a robbery-cum-murder case.
- Madadgar 15 returned a stolen gold ring and cash to their rightful owner.
Weapons Recovered:
In operations against illegal weapons, eight suspects were arrested and eight pistols along with 25 rounds of ammunition were recovered.
