Security Forces Foil Fitna Al-Khwarij Infiltration Attempt in Kurram Sector
Pakistan security forces successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by Fitna Al-Khwarij terrorists aiming to cross into the Kurram sector from Afghanistan. This act of defiance occurred despite Afghan Taliban firing upon Pakistani border posts, utilizing heavy weapons, mortars, and other arms.
Security sources revealed that the initial attempt originated from Afghan Taliban positions in Nangarhar and Paktia provinces, but Pakistani troops along the border prevented any successful crossings. In response to the unprovoked fire, Pakistan's security forces retaliated with precision, targeting several Afghan Taliban border posts, mortar positions, and defensive locations using small and heavy weaponry, including artillery.
The robust response forced the Afghan Taliban personnel to abandon their posts and flee, leaving Pakistan in full control of the border areas. Security forces remain vigilant, promising swift and decisive action against any further provocations.
