Security Forces Neutralise 11 Terrorists in IBOs in Balochistan: ISPR
RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) Security Forces killed and neutralised 11 terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Kharan and Washuk districts of Balochistan.
On 6 September 2026, terrorists attempted to establish a roadblock in Kharan and disrupt local traffic. The security forces promptly intercepted and engaged the terrorists, killing eight Indian-sponsored terrorists.
In another engagement on 7 September 2026, a deliberately planned IBO was conducted in Washuk district based on reports of the presence of terrorists. During the operation, troops effectively busted a terrorist hideout and, after an intense fire exchange, three terrorists were killed. The security forces also recovered 2.9 tons of explosive material intended for making improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area. The relentless Counter Terrorism campaign, under the vision "Azm e Istehkam" (approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan), will continue at full pace to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from Pakistan.
