He emphasized that September 8 is a reminder of the remarkable achievements and valiant efforts of the Pakistan Navy in the 1965 conflict. In his message, he praised the Navy’s courage, professional skills, and strategic planning, citing their successful operation against enemies by the 25th Destroyer Squadron.
Murad Ali Shah honored the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Navy, describing them as a source of national pride. He highlighted the Navy’s crucial role in safeguarding Pakistan’s maritime boundaries, noting the significance of Sindh’s coastline for the country’s defense, trade, and economy.
The Chief Minister stressed that protecting the nation’s interests along the Sindh coast and in the Arabian Sea is a shared responsibility. He commended the Navy’s efforts in securing all coastal areas of Pakistan. Furthermore, he viewed Navy Day as a reminder of the nation’s commitment to preserving its maritime heritage and coastal security.
