Dubai (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 14th Sep, 2026) Emirates is kicking off the Arabian Travel Market 2026 with a bang, securing seven Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with tourism boards from diverse regions, including the Indian Ocean, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the UAE. They have also renewed partnerships with technology and retail allies.

Key Partnerships:

  • Seychelles: Emirates has renewed its partnership with the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture (MTC), first established in 2013, to boost inbound traffic through joint campaigns and familiarization trips.
  • Mauritius: The airline has extended its agreement with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA), promoting the nation’s tourism and trade industries for over two decades. This partnership has contributed to a 10.5% increase in tourist arrivals from Middle East markets in H1 2026 compared to the previous year.
  • Madagascar: The partnership with Madagascar’s Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts (MTH) aims to support their target of one million tourists by 2028 through joint advertising, tailored packages, and familiarization trips.
  • Sharjah: Emirates has renewed its tie-up with the Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) to continue driving tourism growth in Sharjah emirate.
