Shikarpur RBUT Civil Hospital Granted Teaching Hospital Status
Shikarpur RBUT Civil Hospital has been granted teaching hospital status, a significant development for the healthcare sector in Pakistan. This achievement is primarily due to the efforts of Sindh Assembly Member Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh. The hospital has also been approved for clinical training and affiliation with Ziauddin Medical College, Sukkur, enabling medical students to gain practical experience in the district.
According to a notification from the Sindh Health Department, the RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur is now officially recognized as a teaching hospital under a provincial cabinet decision effective immediately. This move is expected to enhance clinical training opportunities for medical students and improve healthcare services in the region.
