Sindh Governor Visits Chinese Consulate – UrduPoint

The Governor of Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, paid an important visit to the Chinese Consulate in Karachi. There, he was warmly welcomed by the Chinese Consul General, Feng Deheng, and senior officials from the Consulate.
During their meeting, both sides engaged in detailed discussions about Pakistan-China relations, regional security, peace, and opportunities for enhancing mutual cooperation. The Governor emphasized that the strong bond between Pakistan and China is a remarkable example of solidarity in challenging times, gaining even more significance given the current regional climate.
Addressing regional and global peace, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi stated that "war and confrontation are not solutions; dialogue and diplomacy are the only sustainable paths to lasting peace." He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace, stability, and tension reduction in the region.
The Governor also expressed Pakistan’s desire to benefit from China’s advanced technology, expertise, and experience in various sectors. He highlighted the Makkah Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye as a testament to their shared dedication to peace, security, and stability.
Consul General Feng Deheng commended Pakistan’s role in fostering regional peace and stability. He expressed China’s desire to strengthen its "time-tested and all-weather friendship" with Pakistan and pledged to expand cooperation in technology, trade, development, and other mutually beneficial areas. He emphasized the importance of continued coordination between the two countries for regional prosperity and stability.
