Six Criminal Gangs Busted, 7 Stolen Motorcycles Recovered in Rawalpindi
Rawalpindi, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 1st Sep, 2026) Police have arrested 12 suspects belonging to six gangs allegedly involved in robbery, motorcycle theft and other theft cases and recovered seven stolen motorcycles, cash, a laptop and weapons from their possession.
Police Actions
According to a police spokesperson, Wah Cantt Police arrested six members of two gangs and recovered more than Rs2,00,000 in stolen cash and a motorcycle from their possession. Similarly, Sadiqabad Police arrested a two-member gang and recovered three stolen motorcycles, cash and weapons, while Ratta Amral Police apprehended another two-member gang and recovered a stolen motorcycle, cash, a laptop and weapons. Ganjmandi Police arrested the alleged ringleader of a gang and recovered a stolen motorcycle from his possession. Airport Police also arrested a gang leader and recovered another stolen motorcycle.
Ongoing Crackdown
The Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said the operations were part of the ongoing crackdown against gangs involved in robbery, motorcycle theft and other criminal activities.
