In the absence of a goal and with a red card to boot, new Scotland head coach Sebastien Pocognoli faces several key questions ahead of Saturday's crucial Nations League clash with North Macedonia:
- How might Scotland achieve their first win under Pocognoli?
- What changes will he make to the starting lineup?
One significant decision revolves around the goalkeeping position. Angus Gunn, who conceded three goals against Switzerland, has struggled for form recently. Scott Bain and Jon McCracken are options, but Liam Kelly is yet to feature this season. Pocognoli may opt for a bold move, choosing one of these alternatives over Gunn.
Another area of interest is the defense. Will Welsh be retained after his quiet debut? Can he contribute more going forward?
