SSP Meets Religious Scholars to Discuss Eid Milad-un-Nabi Security Arrangements
SUKKUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd Aug, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shikarpur Muhammad Kaleem held a meeting with a delegation of religious scholars to discuss security arrangements for the upcoming celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
According to a police spokesperson, detailed discussions took place during the meeting regarding security measures for Milad gatherings, religious programs, and processions scheduled across the district.
The delegation comprised:
- Maulana Bashir Ahmed Naqshbandi, Deputy Ameer of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Sindh
- Allama Habib Ahmed Qadri, Vice President of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Sindh
- Allama Sahibzada Masood Ahmed Qadri, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan Shikarpur
- Sahibzada Hafiz Fazlullah Noorani, Nazim-e-Aala of Markazi Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Shikarpur
- Abdul Hafeez Mughal, President of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Shikarpur
- Maulana Muhammad Rashid Qadri of Ittehad Ahle Sunnat Shikarpur.
SSP Muhammad Kaleem assured the scholars that Shikarpur Police would implement comprehensive and effective security measures to safeguard citizens’ lives and property and maintain law and order during Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among religious scholars, organizers, and law enforcement agencies to ensure peaceful conduct of all gatherings and processions in adherence to the established security protocols.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a special prayer was offered for the country’s safety and prosperity, peace and order, and respectful observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
