Steps Being Taken To Include Youth In National Mainstream: Governor
Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Wednesday stated that effective measures are being taken to integrate youth into modern requirements and the national mainstream. He made this announcement during a meeting with representatives from the Christian, Hindu, and Sikh communities, led by former Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Anita Irfan.
The delegation also extended their congratulations to the Governor on his successful visit to the United States and his participation in the Youth and Artificial Intelligence Summit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Present during the meeting were former MPA Anita Irfan, Irfan Bashir, Bishop Wilson Fazal, Bishop Amanat Masih, Amer Jan, Tariq Gul, and Raj Kumar.
The Governor expressed his gratitude to the minority representatives for their congratulations and highlighted the importance of highlighting the voice of youth at international forums like the United Nations. He noted his attendance at events organized by the Pakistani community in Texas, Houston, and Los Angeles to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day during his US visit.
Emphasizing national unity, Mandokhel declared: "We undoubtedly belong to different nations, religions, and minorities, but we are all Pakistanis, equal under the Constitution of Pakistan." He assured continued government support for minority communities and promised to address their concerns.
Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Noshirwani also spoke, reiterating the government’s commitment to "interfaith harmony" and ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens, regardless of background.
The event concluded with representatives from various minority communities presenting commemorative gifts to the Governor.
