Street Children Games Held in Nagarparkar, Over 150 Boys and Girls Participate in First Ever Mountain Climbing Event
The Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Sindh organized street children games in Nagarparkar, Tharparkar, where children and young people enthusiastically participated. A mountain climbing competition, a first for the department, saw over 150 male and female participants.
Traditional games such as Bata, Gabri, Wanjh Wati, Kodi Kodi, and Malakhra were also arranged at the historic Gori Temple in Nagarparkar. Prizes were distributed to outstanding performers.
Former secretary of sports and youth affairs, Abdul Aleem Lashari, director general culture, Habibullah Memon, and director culture, Hidayatullah Rajar attended the event. The department also announced future plans to organize large-scale mountain climbing programs in Tharparkar to promote adventure sports in the region.
