Stringent Monitoring to Enhance Transparency in FDA Revenue Collection System
Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Additional Director General Qaiser Abbas Rind has initiated stringent monitoring to maintain financial discipline and improve transparency within the institution's revenue collection system. This comes after modern technology and digital systems were adopted under the leadership of FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry.
During a meeting, Rind reviewed the FDA's income, expenditures, revenue collections across various heads, and outstanding dues recovery processes. To streamline online payment procedures, Rind suggested providing guidance to applicants seeking FDA services, reducing unnecessary office visits and expediting digital payments. He emphasized the importance of offering timely information and assistance to ensure prompt citizen relief.
The Additional Director General further promoted the adoption of digital and online systems, which would enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in financial matters. He directed officers to utilize modern technology effectively for better integration within the financial system, ensuring seamless coordination among relevant departments.
Emphasizing the significance of timely revenue collection for the authority's financial sustainability, Rind stated that any laxity or delays in recovering outstanding dues would not be accepted. He prioritized transparency and merit in financial dealings, advocating for citizen-centric services with ease, efficiency, and convenience.
