Student Clash In Ayub Medical College Stemmed From Previous Dispute
UrduPoint (10 September, 2026) – ABBOTTABAD: The administration of Ayub Medical College has constituted a six-member disciplinary committee to investigate a clash between students and determine the facts and responsibility for the incident.
According to a statement issued by the college administration, the Dean and Chief Provost held a meeting with Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mirpur Police Station and reviewed the situation. The administration noted that the clash resulted from a previous dispute between students, which had been resolved earlier and disciplinary action taken against those involved. However, the dispute resurfaced leading to the latest incident.
The newly constituted committee will conduct a comprehensive investigation, examine all relevant aspects, and submit a fact-based report to concerned authorities. Further action will be taken based on the committee’s findings. The administration stated that the situation is currently under control but, considering the safety and security of students and college staff, Ayub Medical College will remain closed until further orders.
