Students Showcase Cultural Heritage Through Smart Textiles at Aror University

SUKKUR, (App/UrduPoint) The Faculty of Design at Aror University Sukkur organized a guest lecture on "Conductive Cultural Map," presented by three final-year students of Fashion Design here on Tuesday.
The students showcased their innovative concept, threading together diverse cultural regions of Pakistan – Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh – with traditional motifs cleverly integrated into digital and smart textiles, harmonizing heritage with modern technology.
Addressing the seminar in his closing remarks, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Zahid Hussain Khand praised the students' creative work, encouraging them to pursue their ideas with dedication, commitment, and artistry. He was joined by the Dean, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and a large number of students in appreciating the presentation.
Later, the Vice Chancellor presented certificates of appreciation to the presenting students.
