Suthra Punjab Agency Intensifies Cleanliness, Anti-Smog, and Anti-Dengue Activities

Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency Rawalpindi, Rana Sajid Safdar, visited Sirajia Park on Saidpur Road, UC-15, and Morgah on Wednesday to oversee cleanliness operations in the city.
During his visit, the MD inspected worker attendance, fleet operations, and other operational aspects. He engaged with sanitation workers and citizens to gather insights on cleanliness standards and field challenges.
Present were Manager Operations District Rawalpindi Aamir Younis Naik, Manager Operations City Syed Hassan Sardar, and other operational staff. They presented updates on ongoing cleanliness initiatives and measures to combat smog and dengue, along with field activities.
Rana Sajid Safdar directed the enhancement of cleanliness standards across the city, improved worker attendance and fleet efficiency, and the optimal utilization of resources to ensure a clean and healthy environment for citizens. He commended the efforts of sanitation workers and urged public cooperation in maintaining cleanliness.
In parallel, Suthra Punjab Agency Rawalpindi continues its public awareness campaign against smog and dengue. Team members visited Liaquat Road Market and a school at Haroon Chowk, Kuri Road. They interacted with citizens, shopkeepers, and students, emphasizing the significance of cleanliness, its positive public health impact, and disease prevention due to unhygienic conditions.
The team also shared precautionary measures against smog and dengue, cleanliness maintenance, and the Suthra Punjab helpline 1139. Informative pamphlets were distributed. The communication team encouraged citizens and students to uphold cleanliness in homes, public spaces, markets, and educational institutions, avoid open waste disposal, and adopt measures to prevent smog and dengue.
Citizens appreciated Suthra Punjab’s cleanliness and awareness initiatives, expressing their commitment to continued cooperation.
