Suthra Punjab Agency Reviews Sanitation Arrangements in Hazro

ATTOCK, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Aug, 2026) Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency Attock, Anil Saeed, visited Hazro Tehsil on Tuesday and reviewed sanitation and cleanliness arrangements, following the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and special directives of Deputy Commissioner Attock.
During his visit, Mr. Saeed inspected the TCP dumpsite, waste enclosures, and available sanitation machinery, assessing the overall cleanliness situation in the tehsil. He directed the Tehsil Manager and staff to take immediate measures to further improve sanitation services in both urban and rural areas. Emphasizing the importance of effective resource utilization, he instructed them to ensure timely waste removal and prompt resolution of cleanliness-related complaints.
"Providing citizens with a clean, hygienic, and healthy environment is a key responsibility of Suthra Punjab Agency workers," said Mr. Saeed. He warned of strict disciplinary action against officials found negligent in performing their duties or failing to address public complaints regarding sanitation.
The Managing Director also appealed to citizens to contribute to keeping Hazro clean by avoiding garbage disposal on streets and around homes, shops, and offices. He encouraged residents to use designated waste bins and cooperate with sanitation workers, stressing that collective efforts from the administration, staff, and citizens were crucial for maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
