Talaqa Police Crack Down on Robbery Cases, Arrest Two Suspects and Recover Stolen Property
Talaqa Police have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in a robbery case and recovered a stolen motorcycle and a touchscreen mobile phone from their possession, police said on Monday. The arrests were made in connection with FIR No. 93/2026, registered under Sections 397/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
According to police, the arrested suspects were identified as Nabi Bakhsh son of Amir Bakhsh Panhwar, a resident of village Mubarak Panhwar near Jarwari Branch, Mirpurkhas district, and Waqar Ali son of Muhammad Malik Panhwar, resident of Liaquat Town, Mirpurkhas. Police stated that a motorcycle bearing registration No. HEE-4268 and a mobile phone were recovered from their possession.
During further interrogation, police revealed significant progress in another robbery case registered through FIR No. 85/2026 under Sections 397/34 PPC. The investigation led to the recovery of another stolen motorcycle and a mobile phone. The complainant in the case was identified as Sajjad Hussain son of Haider Bakhsh Sherani, resident of Tehsil Taunsa Sharif, District Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab.
The complainant in FIR No. 93/2026 was named as Adnan son of Zulfiqar Ali Jutt, a resident of village Haji Ghulam Mustafa Jutt, Deh 245, Tehsil Shujaabad, District Mirpurkhas. Talaqa Police stated that further investigation is ongoing, with more revelations and recoveries anticipated as the probe progresses.
