Technical Education Essential for Youth Employment: Speakers

They were addressing a certificate distribution ceremony organized by Wish & Deal here on Sunday. The speakers included Professor Dr Azmat Ali, former Tehsil Nazim Ishaq Zakaria Advocate, and Chief Safety Instructor Syed Ramzan Shah.
The speakers stated that traditional academic education alone was no longer sufficient for young people, emphasizing the need to acquire modern technical and vocational skills. They noted that the demand for diploma holders and individuals with practical technical expertise was increasing globally, creating better employment opportunities for skilled youth both in Pakistan and abroad.
They highlighted the growing demand for trained safety professionals in industries, construction projects, and other sectors. They encouraged young people to acquire technical skills according to their interests and abilities.
The speakers added that technical education could provide youth with opportunities for self-employment while also contributing to the national economy. At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were distributed among students who had successfully completed their courses.
