The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) and CREECO Join Forces for Climate Innovation

The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) Sukkur and CREECO Pvt. Ltd. Islamabad have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote climate innovation and sustainable development. The agreement was formalized on August 19, 2026, with signatures from Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj, Vice Chancellor of BNBWU, and Muhammad Siddique, CEO of CREECO.

Collaboration Areas:

  • Applied Research: Both institutions will collaborate on applied research projects related to climate change.
  • Climate-Smart Technologies: They aim to develop and implement climate-smart technologies for a sustainable future.
  • Renewable Energy: The partnership will explore opportunities in renewable energy sources.
  • Biodiversity Conservation: Efforts will be made to protect and conserve biodiversity through joint initiatives.
  • Student Engagement: BNBWU and CREECO will work together to engage students in sustainability projects.

  • Climate and Biodiversity Innovation Park: The MoU envisages the establishment of a dedicated park for climate and biodiversity innovation.
  • Waste-to-Energy Solutions: Both parties will explore innovative solutions, including waste-to-energy technologies, biomass, biogas, biochar, and carbon sequestration.
