Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Responds to Rumours
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has strongly rejected reports of a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and speculation about his removal. Provincial Information Minister Shafi Jan termed these reports as completely false, baseless, and fabricated in a post on social media platform X.
Shafi Jan's Statement

Sohail Afridi is going nowhere and will be heading to Islamabad on October 4, 2026.
Concluding his response, he quoted Mirza Ghalib's famous couplet:
"Thousands of desires, each one worth dying for..."
