Three Injured In Rickshaw-Truck Collision Near Tahirabad

CHINIOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Aug, 2026) Three people, including two women, sustained serious injuries when a speeding rickshaw collided with a truck near Tahirabad on Lahore Road on Tuesday.
The accident triggered an immediate response from Rescue 1122 teams, which reached the scene and launched a rescue operation. According to Rescue 1122 officials, the injured were identified as:
- Syed Hussain Shah, son of Syed Gul Shah, aged 45
- Allah Mafi, wife of Naubahar, aged 30
- Shamim Bibi, wife of Waris Ali, aged 35
All three injured persons were residents of Chak No. 12. Rescue personnel provided first aid to one of the injured at the scene, while two others, who sustained serious injuries, were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for further medical treatment.
The rescue operation was completed promptly, while the relevant authorities were informed about the incident. Rescue officials urged motorists and rickshaw drivers to observe speed limits and traffic safety rules to prevent such accidents.
