Three Killed In Separate Firing Incidents In DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 01, 2026) Three people were killed in separate firing incidents occurred here in different areas, while another managed to escape, police said on Tuesday.
First Incident:
Ibrahim Sherani, a resident of Mani-Khwa, reported to Kirri Khaisour police that he was travelling to the Federal capital by car with Dost Khan, a resident of Noshki, Balochistan, when they were stopped by a car with three to four armed persons near Wandha-Khajji on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route. The assailants forced them to stop and allegedly opened fire, killing Dost Khan instantly. Sherani escaped unharmed, and the vehicle was damaged in the firing. A case was registered under murder and attempted murder charges.
Second Incident:
Three to four men went to the house of Fazal Rehman in Musa Zai Sharif and called his brother, Shaukat Khan, who worked at Chaudhwan hospital, before taking him away. The family searched for him throughout the night and was informed that his body had been found in a forest land area at Mazhar Khan Taju Khel. Police said he had been shot dead with a firearm. No known enmity was reported between the victim’s family and anyone.
Third Incident:
Kaleemullah, son of Haji Gul, was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Karkhana Morr in Daraban Kalan. Nematullah, his cousin, reported to Daraban police that the family had no known dispute or enmity with anyone.
Separate cases have been registered, and investigations are underway into all three incidents.
