Three Killed, Three Injured As Vehicle Plunges Into River In Upper Dir
UPPER DIR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) Three people, including a woman, were killed and three others injured when a vehicle plunged into a river in the Sandrol area of Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, tv channels reported on Wednesday.
Initial reports said that the accident occurred when the vehicle, allegedly being driven rashly, was passing through the Sandrol area and suddenly veered off the road before plunging into the river. As a result, three persons died on the spot, while three others sustained injuries.
Rescue team rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident and shifted the bodies and injured persons to a nearby hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
