Three More Modern Dialysis Machines Installed at MM Teaching Hospital DIKhan
Dera Ismail Khan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Three more modern NIKKO DBB-EXA Series hemodialysis machines have been installed at Mufti Mehmood Memorial Teaching Hospital (MMT Hospital), Dera Ismail Khan, bringing the total number of dialysis machines to nine from six.
This addition will enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide dialysis services to more patients and improve access to quality healthcare for those suffering from kidney-related ailments.
Patients and their attendants expressed gratitude for the new machines, praising the hospital administration for enhancing dialysis facilities. Idrees Rehman, a patient, noted that the increased capacity would reduce waiting times. Another patient, Inamullah, appreciated the improved healthcare services and acknowledged the efforts of former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur and MNA Faisal Amin Gandapur in supporting initiatives to enhance healthcare in the city.
The installation of these three additional machines is seen as a significant step towards strengthening modern healthcare facilities and ensuring better dialysis care for the people of Dera Ismail Khan and surrounding areas.
