A low-pressure area over the northwestern Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal Odisha is expected to move westward, according to the Meteorological Department.

Karachi’s Weather Forecast

The department forecasts thunderstorms and rain in Karachi on September 14 and 15. A new weather system forming over the Bay of Bengal is developing into a depression, potentially bringing rain to Karachi and various districts of Sindh next week.

The low-pressure area is currently over the northwestern Bay of Bengal and coastal Odisha, and is expected to move westward. Intense heat is expected to continue in Karachi for the next two days before the rains.

Lahore’s Heat Persists

Meanwhile, the intensity of the heat persists in Lahore, where light winds are making the weather feel even hotter. The weather is expected to remain hot and dry over the next 24 hours, with a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius.
