Two Killed As Tractor-trolley Overturns Into Canal
Two people were killed on Saturday when a brick-laden tractor-trolley plunged into a canal and overturned near Head Sikandri drain by Rango Bridge. According to Rescue 1122, the tractor-trolley lost control and fell into the canal, trapping both occupants underneath the vehicle and its load of bricks. Both victims died on the spot.
Local residents retrieved the bodies from the water shortly after the incident occurred. The deceased were identified as Nazim, son of Ghulam Hussain, and Mashooq, son of Muhammad Bakhsh.
