Two Persons Die In Road Mishap In Nowshera: Police
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) A fatal collision between a tractor-trolley loaded with bricks and a cargo dumper near Azakhel Payan on GT Road in Nowshera on Wednesday left two persons dead and three seriously injured.
Police and Rescue 1122 officers reported: two ill-fated individuals lost their lives and three were critically hurt in an accident involving a tractor-trolley and a cargo dumper. According to district emergency officer Rescue 1122 Nowshera, Malik Ashfaq Hussain, rescue teams sprang into action upon receiving news of the crash at the Nowshera control room, dispatching ambulances, disaster response vehicles, and teams to the scene.
These teams meticulously used hydraulic cutters and modern equipment to free all three trapped individuals from the dumper. Unfortunately, two bodies were recovered from within the vehicle, confirmed as Javed (aged 50) of Kundaron and Fawad (aged 25), also a resident of Kundaron.
The primary cause of this fatal accident was determined to be overspeeding.
