UAE Ambassador Presents Credential To King Of Jordan

AMMAN (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 10th Sep, 2026) Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. The ceremony took place at Basman Al-Zaher Palace in Amman.
Al Shamsi delivered greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court to His Majesty King Abdullah. He also extended wishes for Jordan’s further progress and prosperity.
In response, His Majesty King Abdullah conveyed his greetings and well-wishes to the leadership, government, and people of the UAE. He emphasized his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors.
His Majesty wished Al Shamsi success in his duties, while Al Shamsi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in Jordan, vowing to enhance long-standing fraternal ties. The two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation and ways to further develop them for mutual benefit.
