UAE Sends 83 Tonnes of Urgent Relief Aid for Flood, Landslide Victims in Nepal

The United Arab Emirates, through the UAE Aid Agency, has dispatched an aircraft carrying 83 tonnes of urgent relief aid to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. The aid includes essential food supplies and various shelter and humanitarian essentials, aiming to support those affected by recent floods and landslides.

This initiative follows the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide US$10 million in relief, focusing on early recovery and stability for the affected regions. The UAE Aid Agency, in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Nepal, is working with local authorities to ensure swift delivery of relief supplies to those in need. They are also coordinating with international organizations to enhance relief efforts in the affected areas.
