BERLIN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 10th Sep, 2026) Mohammed Ahmed Al Mahmoud, former UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, emphasized that the state visit of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan signifies a new and significant milestone in the relations between the two countries.
Through the establishment of a strategic partnership and intensified high-level visits and institutional cooperation over the past decade, the strong bond the UAE and Germany share today is rooted in mutual trust and shared interests.
Al Mahmoud noted, "This state visit holds particular importance for me as it allows me to witness the evolution of efforts initiated over five decades ago and how UAE–German relations have blossomed into a robust and forward-looking partnership. It also presents a crucial opportunity to build upon achieved progress and explore new avenues for collaboration in areas such as economy, investment, technology, energy, education, and innovation, thereby advancing our mutual interests and supporting the aspirations of both leaderships and their people."
He concluded by stating that the strength of UAE–German relations lies in their adaptability to changing circumstances while upholding principles of respect, trust, and dialogue. This visit, he affirmed, represents a new chapter in a partnership forged years ago, one that continues to shape a brighter future filled with prosperity.
