The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on Wednesday observed the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), with great religious fervor and devotion. A large gathering was held at the University Central Mosque for the event.

The program began with Quran Khawani, followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool and a Bayan on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). Religious scholars illuminated the life and teachings of the Last Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), emphasizing his message of peace, compassion, tolerance, and unity.

Attended by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, deans, directors, faculty members, and a significant number of students, the event was a testament to the university’s commitment to Islamic values.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali encouraged participants to emulate the Prophet (PBUH), considering it crucial for success in this life and the afterlife. He highlighted that the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) offers guidance and solutions to humanity’s challenges.

The university decorated the main administration block and historical buildings on the Old Campus with Seerat banners, enhancing the festive ambiance. The program concluded with a special Dua for the country’s progress and the Muslim Ummah, followed by the distribution of traditional sweets among attendees.

As part of the celebrations, the UAF Library organized a Digital Book Exhibition on Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), while the Senior Tutor’s Office conducted Seerat writing competitions and seminars.
