UNICEF Delegation Visits Punjab Home Department
LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 10, 2026) A delegation from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Islamabad visited the Punjab Home Department and met with Additional Secretary Foreign National Security Ayesha Mumtaz.
The meeting discussed the law and order situation and measures related to child protection.
The UNICEF delegation included Ahmad Abdullah and Muhammad Khalid Irfan, while Deputy Secretary Muhammad Murtaza, Deputy Secretary Jamal Fazeel, and Muhammad Asadullah Gondal also participated.
The UNICEF delegation appreciated the measures taken by the Punjab Home Department for the protection of children.
Later, the delegation visited the Digital Media and Public Outreach Cell of the Home Department, where Director Public Relations Tauseef Sabih Gondal gave a briefing about the “Haya aur Bahadur” cartoon series created for the protection of children.
