US Stocks End Lower As Treasury Yields Rise

NEW YORK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 30th Sep, 2026) US stocks fell at the close on Tuesday as government bond yields continued to rise ahead of the release of inflation and labour market data.
- S&P 500 index declined by 11.12 points, or 0.14%, to close at 7,672.57 points.
- Nasdaq Composite fell 17.72 points, or 0.08%, to 26,802.66 points.
- Dow Jones Industrial Average also dropped 136.10 points, or 0.26%, to 51,345.41 points.
