Voice of KP Initiative To Highlight Youth Talent and Culture of Province: Governor
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10th Sep, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday stated that the launch of “Voice of KP” at Governor House presents an opportunity to highlight youth talent and the rich cultural heritage of the province.
He was addressing the launching ceremony of “Voice of KP,” organized by HOPE Organization to promote provincial music and showcase hidden talent. Renowned Pashto singer Khyal Muhammad, former world squash champion Jansher Khan, and other distinguished guests were in attendance.
The Governor noted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa significantly contributes to the nation, providing mineral resources, affordable electricity, gas, and other natural blessings. He emphasized the province’s people’s role as the first line of defense against terrorism and their sacrifices in the fight against it.
Kundi underscored the need to eliminate prejudice, adding that individuals from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa play a crucial role in contributing to other provinces’ economies. He highlighted the province’s talented artists and musicians who perform in Pashto and other languages, gaining worldwide recognition.
He considered arts and culture vital in projecting society’s positive image and encouraged promoting initiatives like “Voice of KP” to enhance the province’s soft image. According to him, "The Voice of KP is not just a competition but an avenue for young people to showcase their untapped potential and become the voice of the province."
The Governor congratulated the organizers and expressed optimism about the initiative’s future. He commended HOPE CEO Zubair Elahi for launching the platform, describing “Voice of KP” as a significant tool in promoting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s soft image.
Earlier, HOPE CEO Zubair Elahi outlined the organization’s social activities and paid tribute to Governor Faisal Karim Kundi for supporting the launch of “Voice of KP.”
