Wall Street Closes Lower As Nasdaq Falls 1.36%
US stocks closed lower on Thursday, with the Nasdaq Composite falling 361.77 points (or 1.36%) to 26,188.08.
The S&P 500 declined 22.96 points (or 0.31%) to 7,721.02, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 129.30 points (or 0.25%) to 52,345.80.
The decline was largely driven by technology stocks, as disappointing earnings from Alphabet renewed concerns over returns on heavy artificial intelligence investments.
