Wall Street Stocks End Lower Ahead of Nvidia Earnings

NEW YORK: Wall Street’s main indexes experienced a modest decline on Wednesday, ahead of Nvidia‘s earnings announcement and in response to higher-than-expected US inflation figures.
S&P 500 closed at 7,676.29, down 0.99 points (0.01%).
Nasdaq Composite dropped to 26,136.18, a loss of 15.12 points (0.06%).
The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished at 53,463.88, down 113.52 points (0.21%).
This downward trend was particularly noticeable in the tech sector, with Nvidia shares falling by 1%.
