WASA MD Directs Intensified Revenue Recovery, Action Against Defaulters
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Ghufran Ahmad on Thursday directed officials to intensify efforts to increase revenue and take effective action against defaulters. He chaired a meeting to review development projects, operations and maintenance, revenue recovery, and public complaints here.
He also ordered that the sites of ongoing development projects be completely cleared. “Public complaints should be resolved promptly and relief should be provided to citizens,” the MD said.
Ghufran Ahmad warned that negligence would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against officers and staff found responsible for any lapse. He stressed the need to ensure effective performance in operational affairs and revenue recovery.
