WASA Reviews Pre-rain Arrangements in Gujrat

Managing Director WASA Gujrat Kashan Hafeez Butt visited Jail Chowk Disposal Station on Thursday to review arrangements for drainage ahead of forecast rains from August 27 to 29.
According to an official source, the MD inspected the operational condition of the disposal station, machinery, pumps, and other essential equipment, as well as reviewing field preparedness for prompt drainage and emergency response during rainfall.
Sub-Engineer Luqman briefed the MD on the operational status of the disposal station and arrangements made to cope with the expected rains.
Kashan Hafeez Butt stated that WASA field teams and machinery would remain fully alert during the rains, aiming to provide maximum possible relief to citizens by ensuring timely drainage. He directed the concerned staff to ensure the smooth functioning of machinery and pumps and be prepared to respond promptly to any emergency situation.
